1 teaspoon dried basil (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 475 °F (ca. 246 °C). If you're using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats.
Prepare Dough: If using pre-made dough, follow the package instructions. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza pan or baking sheet lightly coated with olive oil.
Add Sauce: Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. If you like, add dried oregano and basil for extra flavor.
Bake: Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of the pizza. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
